Our church is evangelical in its ethos and we are keen to move forward in our conduct of worship. To this end we have a small team of worship leaders available to assist preachers and we are developing a worship group to enrich our worship.
Our congregation is in a covenant relationship with St Peter’s, Toton. The two churches are committed to working together in evangelism, outreach and youth work in the village.
As well as having regular united services and prayer meetings, we also have thirteen cell groups, most of which have members from both fellowships.
We also have a satelite group meeting in the new housing developement on old Chilwell depot, known as ‘Network’,
The church has a small but enthusiastic Sunday school who join in the first part of morning worship.
It also has rainbow, brownie and guide packs who share in our Parade services.
During the week there is a Junior Club and a Mother’s and Toddlers group called Play & Praise. We also have a youth club.
For the more mature, we have a mid-week fellowship and a women’s meeting, which are both well supported and meet on a fortnightly basis.
